About this XIRR calculator
XIRR is the extended internal rate of return. It handles cash flows that happen at irregular intervals, which is common in real investments like SIPs with varying amounts or lump sums at different times.
Enter your cash flows (negative for money invested, positive for money received) and the corresponding dates. The tool uses Newton's method to solve for the rate that makes the net present value zero.
Use it to measure the true annualised return on investments with irregular cash flows. It is more accurate than CAGR for such cases.
